A very popular food from Korea, Galbijjim is a rich-flavored dish that is usually served at special occasions and holidays but I don’t think people should limit themselves to those days. I hope you don’t either!
Galbijjim is generally made with beef or pork short ribs. Keep in mind that if you prepare it with pork, it is called Dweji Galbijjim.
It may need some patience as it has to be cooked slowly over a low fire.
