Also known as: 호떡, hoddeok, hodduk or ho-ttok
Hotteok is a sweet pancake with syrup filling inside and it is a very popular street snack in Korea. It is mostly eaten during Winter season, but of course there is no limitation on when to enjoy this tasty dessert.
As anything that has brown sugar, walnuts, cinnamon powder and flour as the main ingredients, it is generally loved by the children and should be an irresiteble couple with a glass of milk.
Or maybe with a nice and steaming cup of black coffee, why not?
