There is an old saying in Korea: “You can never have too much side dishes.” 

Ok I may have just made that one up, but thinking about it, there is actually some truth to that. They look good, they taste good, they are relatively light and easy to prepare. I don’t think we need more excuses, so here is another tasty side dish from Korea: Japchae.

Basically, Japchae is sweet potato noodles stir fried with a variety of vegetables. You may use beef and you may flavor it with -yes, you guessed it folks- good old soy sauce and garnish it with sesame seeds. It is a very popular and beloved food in Korea. It is among the dishes that are preferred at parties & organizations.

You may enjoy Japchae hot or cold.
