One of the favorites of Korean people, Kimchi JJigae is an easily prepared dish that is enjoyed at all times of the year. It’s main ingredients are Kimchi(obviously) and pork meat, but there is plenty of room for improvisation. It is a rich meal, so when combined with rice, you really don’t need to have much more on the table.
If the Kimchi is getting old and sour, you always have the option to use it as an ingredient in other meals. Kimchi Jjigae can be considered as one of the best examples of this. If you have aged Kimchi, you can easily prepare this in a relatively short amount of time and enjoy a beautiful meal.
